The department supports the following goals in producing quality research outcomes:

• improving success in competitive research grants, including the Australian Research Council (ARC) schemes and industry sources;
• supporting and encouraging high quality publications;
• providing comprehensive research support structures and resources.

Commitment to research

Research by scholars in the department is widely published in leading national and international journals including Accounting and Finance, Accounting Review, Accounting Organizations and Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Business, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Financial Review.
