About Management Accounting and Accounting Information Systems
Management accounting is a core subject within the Department of Accounting and Finance. The discipline group offers subjects covering professional accounting accreditation, advanced undergraduate studies and a range of postgraduate course work and research subjects. A notable aspect of these subjects is their emphasis on relating subject content to both technical and behavioural aspects of management accounting. The necessity of maintaining contemporary relevance is recognised in the use of case studies on the experiences of organisations with recently developed accounting practices.
