Q Group Colloquium
The Q Group and Monash University will co-host the 6th Colloquium on Empirical & Quantitative Finance on Wednesday, 10 November 2010 at the Novotel Hotel, St Kilda, Melbourne. The theme for this year's Colloquium is "Anomalies and Behavioural Finance"
The Colloquium is a joint event between the Institute of Quantitative Analysis in Finance (Q Group) Australia and the Department of Accounting and Finance, Monash University.
The Q Group, is an association of Australian finance practitioners and researchers, who are active in the development and use of quantitative techniques in finance and investment. The Department of Accounting and Finance, Monash University, has a strong and vibrant finance discipline within the department. It is well known for its quality academic and applied research in finance, as well as its research-led finance teaching.
The Colloquium will comprise short presentations made by both practitioners and academics. In addition, academics and practitioners from Melbourne and Sydney have been invited to participate in the round table discussion.
