Jacqueline Birt
B.Ed Melb, B.Bus RMIT, M.Bus RMIT
Jacqueline Birt joined the Department of Accounting and Finance in July 2008. Her teaching and research are in the area of financial accounting. Her PhD was entitled "Changes in segment reporting". She has published in journals such as the Australian Journal of Management and the Australian Accounting Review. In 2003 she was awarded the Pearson Education Accounting/Finance Lecturer of the Year Award and also the Australian National University Faculty of Economics and Commerce Award for Teaching Excellence. Prior to commencing at Monash University, Jacqueline held appointments at the Australian National University, the University of Amsterdam and the University of Melbourne.
