Professor Paul CollierBBus NSWIT, MComm NSW, GradDipEd UTS, PhD Warwick, CPA
Professor Paul Collier is Associate Dean (Research Degrees) in the faculty of Business and Economics and Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance. He joined the Department in 2006 after seven years at Aston University (UK). Prior to this Paul held senior financial and general management positions in Australia and the UK. His major research interests are Management Control, Management Accounting and Performance Management. Paul has specialised in the study of Police Management and also has interests in Risk and Knowledge Management. Paul has published in Management Accounting Research and Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Accounting Auditing and Accountability Journal and specialist journals in Risk, Knowledge and Public Sector Management. He was a board member and chair of the audit committee of a non-profit distributing company in the UK with assets of 200 million pounds and is currently a Director of Peninsula Health which includes Frankston and Rosebud hospitals.
