Aldonio Ferreira
PhD Lancaster, Licenciatura (Management) University of Porto, CPA
Dr Ferreira joined the Department of Accounting and Finance in 2004 and is a senior lecturer of Management Accounting. Prior to joining the department, Aldonio worked for the Portuguese Catholic University and the University of Porto. He has also worked in the banking sector as a Credit Risk Analyst and as a free lancer in consultancy to SMEs. Aldonio completed his PhD in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University in 2002.
| Research: |
Aldonio's main research interests are in the area of management control, performance management, and management accounting. The behaviour implications of management control systems as well as the links to strategy are key aspects of interest. Aldonio also has a research interests in the study of not-for-profit organisations, environmental issues and sustainability.
