Vijaya B. Marisetty

Dr Marisetty joined the Department of Accounting and Finance in 2002 and is now a Senior Lecturer in Finance. He is also a visiting scholar at the National Institute of Securities Markets, Indian and the Indian School of Business, India. Vijaya completed his PhD in 2004 at Monash University and his research topic was on Australian superannuation funds. He also earned a post-doctoral fellowship for working on family business groups as part of post-doctoral fellowship at the Indian School of Business and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. During the last three years Vijaya has published several research papers that try to understand corporate finance, corporate governance, and business strategy decisions of family business groups. Dr Marisetty research has been recognized through several fellowships and research excellence awards.
