Ruvendra Nandan

Ruvendra joined the Department of Accounting and Finance in semester 11, 2005. Prior to joining Monash University, Ruvendra was a Senior Lecturer and Convenor for the Discipline of Accounting at James Cook University, Cairns. His other academic appointments were at the University of the South Pacific and the Fiji Institute of Technology.

Ruvendra’s teaching and research interests are in the area of accounting for management control. He has designed and offered courses in management accounting and control systems (MACS) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including supervision of research. He has published in refereed academic and professional journals. He researches MACS issues, particularly changes, in wider historical, social, political and cultural contexts.
