Accounting and Finance PhD ProgramThe Department of Accounting and Finance offers the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree across a number of campuses and international boundaries with the primary aim of providing students rigorous academic training in their area of specialisation. The Department's academic staff are dedicated to research at the frontiers of their fields in Financial Accounting and Auditing, Management Accounting and Accounting Information Systems, Finance and Risk. Approximately 50 staff are involved in the supervision of 62 higher degrees research students working in different discipline areas. This excellent academic staff-to-student ratio fosters high-quality supervision and close interaction between students and academics, which characterises a close collegial relationship between academics and higher degrees research candidates. |
