Department of Accounting and Finance International Study Program

Applications for the 2008/09 International Study Program are now closed.

An exciting program has been arranged to visit international organizations in Rome and Prato, Italy; Zurich, Basel and Zermatt, Switzerland; Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France and London, the United Kingdom in January/February 2009.

The program plans to include a unique opportunity to visit the following:

  • the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation and Banca di Roma, Rome;
  • UBS and Zurich Financial Services, Zurich;
  • Bank for International Settlements, Basel; the European Commission;
  • Brussels; OECD and Alstom;
  • Paris and the London Metals Exchange;
  • European Regional Office of National Australia Bank and Citibank, London.

It's a great opportunity to enhance your learning and participate in a program which is highly regarded by prospective employers.

Eligibility

The program is open to all second and third year undergraduate, MBA and postgraduate business students of Monash University, who meet the entry requirements as approved by the program coordinators.   • Some of the sightseeing highlights include:
  • One and a half free days in Rome, with sightseeing pass for discounted entry to venues. Also, dinner at an Italian Trattoria;
  • A weekend in the Swiss Alps at Zermatt;
  • Two free days for sightseeing in Paris with a Paris Pass providing free access to museums and the public transport system, and dinner at a traditional French restaurant;
  • A half day tour of Windsor Castle, and a London Transport card.
