Accounting and Finance Leadership Program

This is an exciting program offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance, Monash University, aimed at developing future business leaders. We intend challenging and extending selected students majoring in Accounting or Finance with a particular focus on developing their leadership and self management skills alongside their degree to give them a competitive edge in their future careers.

The next program, which commences in 2010, comprises a two day residential workshop, other forums and development activities over two years covering a range of problem solving, self management and leadership skills. These activities will be run by professional corporate trainers as well as senior members in industry working for accounting firms, investment banks and corporations including Deloitte, Ernst & Young and UBS.

On completion of the two year program each participant will be presented with a certificate at a formal event attended by industry leaders, alumni and senior academics.
