Research
Associate Professor Helen Anderson's main research interest has been the protection of third parties in their dealings with companies. Her initial area of interest was the liability of auditors to third parties for their published financial statements. More recently, she has examined the state of the law concerning the liability of directors to non-shareholder groups such as employees, and contract and tort creditors. She has presented papers at local and international conferences on both of these areas, as well as publishing widely in well respected journals including Deakin Law Review, Insolvency Law Journal, Australian Journal of Corporate Law, and the Malayan Law Journal.
