Corne Meintjes holds a MCom specialising in Communication management from the University of Pretoria. Soon after furthering her career at Monash University (South Africa) she was selected to present a paper on her teaching at The Vice-Chancellor's Showcase of Teaching Excellence at Monash University held in Melbourne, Australia. Her teaching evaluations are ranked among the top 10% of Monash University overall. Furthermore, Ms Meintjes published with her colleague Dr Ilse Niemann-Struweg an article in the Public Relations Review which is the leading (and oldest) international refereed public relations journal published by Elsevier in its 35th year and has a SSCI of 0.3.

Monash Business Communication Initiative consisting of three parts: Online community, Forums and Incubator where research is conducted to determine whether these initiative is making an impact on the level of knowledge and understanding of corporate communication strategy in the industry in South Africa
