Retail Insights Seminar
The Retail Store 2015
Event brochure with full details
Big-box, little-box, kiosks, experience-hubs, third place, and escapism are just a few of the retail store trends set for 2015 as bricks-and-mortar retailers compete in an era of disruption and address evolving consumer expectations.
The first ACRS Retail Insights Seminar of 2015 will address the latest retail technologies developments and innovations from the National Retail Federation's (NRF) 2015 Big Show. Largely facilitated by technology developments, the physical retail store is fighting back and striving towards experience-driven shopper engagement. As physical and virtual stores continue to blend, leading retailers are providing unique, interactive and immersive shopping experiences.
Through insight from NRF's 2015 Big Show and an international guest presenter with a background in retail store environments, this ACRS Retail Insights Seminar will profile the retail store in 2015. Bringing global trends to life with best-in-class examples of innovation, a number of opportunities for forward-thinking retailers and brands will be identified.
Sean Sands will present key insights from NRF's 2015 Big Show. International guest presenter, Alexis Mavrommatis will highlight physical store retail trends and innovations from around the world. Alexis is an executive graduate from the University of Cambridge and Harvard Business School, with a PhD in retail from the University of Stirling. He has also worked for Carrefour and as a Senior Consultant for JDV The Retail Company, developing innovative retail store concepts for the likes of Carrefour, P&G, Coca-Cola, Masterfoods, and Eroski.
