In September / October 2014, more than 1,500 global retail leaders from over 60 countries will gather in Paris for the annual World Retail Congress (WRC). WRC will address critical issues occupying retail boardroom agendas, including the next wave of technology, the role of the store, environmentally responsible retailing, and the ever-important engagement and understanding of the global consumer.
Representatives from the ACRS attend WRC 2014 to bring Australian retailers strategic insights from some of the world's most successful brands, including Inditex, Mango, Adidas, L'Oreal, Walgreen's, John Lewis, Bloomingdale's, Tesco, JC Penney, J. Crew, Macy's, Toys R Us, Target, Louis Vuitton, GAP, among others. ACRS also conducted the 4th annual Global Retail Index (GRI) survey of CEOs to identify current retail boardroom sentiment and agendas, the findings of which will be presented at WRC.
At this Retail Insights Seminar, Sean Sands and Isabella Maggioni from the ACRS will present the results of the 2014 GRI and key highlights from the Congress, with a focus on the future of the retail landscape, omni-channel retailing, branding and marketing, global consumer trends and technology innovations.
