Services for MBA Alumni

Mentoring Program

Under the terms of a new agreement between the Monash Alumni Association Inc (MAAI) and the Monash MBA Alumni Committee, all Monash MBA alumni and current students can now apply to participate in the professional mentoring program administered by the MAAI.

This program, first introduced as a member-benefit by the MAAI in 2002, was expanded to successfully accommodate final year Monash students during 2004; on the initiative of the MBA Alumni Committee, the program now offers entry to MBA alumni and students, both as mentors and mentees.

The MBA Alumni Offer

Exclusive arrangements have been made with the MAAI for MBA alumni and students to participate in the program. MBA graduates who enrol as mentors will have immediate access to member benefits provided by the MAAI, at no cost – membership status will be provided to mentors as acknowledgement of the value of their time and expertise. Mentors will be assigned to the most appropriate mentee at the time (across all current programs, not exclusively within the MBA group).

MBA students wishing to use the mentoring service as mentees are required to join the MAAI as financial members and pay its annual fee of $66 – a standard joining fee for first-time members of $27.50 will be waived as part of this agreement. Again, member benefits provided by the MAAI will be extended to MBA student participants in this program.
