Staff and student rights and responsibilities
Privacy
Monash University values the privacy of every individual's personal and health information and is committed to protecting the information it holds and uses about all individuals who provide personal information to the university.
Teaching staff should pay particular attention to the Guidelines for Collecting/Distributing Student Results/ Assignments and Other Information.
Copyright
Teaching staff should familiarise themselves with the rules and regulations of the copyright licence under which the university operates.
There are strict limits to the amount of a work that can be copied under the licence and additional restrictions to electronic/online format copies. You should contact the Copyright Officer for the Faculty with any enquiries.
Ethics
Some teaching activities require ethics approval.
