Angela completed a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) in 1993 and then a Bachelor of Education in 1994 at Deakin University, majoring in Indonesian. After completing her studies, Angela worked at IOOF Health Insurance as an administrative officer.
She joined the Arts faculty at Monash University, Caulfield campus, as an administrative assistant in 1999, and moved to Business Law and Taxation in 2001 as undergraduate studies administrator, then special projects officer before taking up her current position, Graduate Course Administrator, in 2004.
