Teaching
Andrew Coleman is a lecturer in law based at the Caulfield campus, where he teaches business law, commercial law, lending law and corporations law and trusts.
Andrew Coleman has received a number of teaching awards:
- Department of Business Law & Taxation Award for Innovative Teaching. (2004) (first year award offered)
- Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching.(2005) (joint prize shared with Les Whiteley, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Business Law and Taxation.)
Research
His research interests are in the area of public international law, in particular; national sovereignty, self-determination, humanitarian law, peacekeeping and the practice of the United Nations. During first semester 1999, he researched these areas in New York and The Hague. In 2000, he enrolled in a PhD examining self-determination and the role of the International Court of Justice at the University of Melbourne.
