Prior to joining the staff at Monash, Andrew was practising full-time as a Member of the Victorian Bar and, prior to that, served as a Judge's Associate.
Andrew is currently on extended leave from Monash University.
Teaching
Andrew teaches in the areas of International Trade and Commercial Law and Commercial Law generally. He teaches at the Clayton and Caulfield campuses in both the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. He has also taught courses in International Trade Law in Hong Kong.
In recognition of his teaching accomplishments, Andrew was one of the Department of Business Law and Taxation’s staff members awarded the 2003 Vice Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Team-based Educational Development, and in 2007 he was awarded a Dean’s Commendation for Excellence in Teaching.
Research
Andrew's research interests include public and private international law, electronic commerce and the law of the internet and commercial law generally.
