Ken joined the department in 1998 after 11 years at the Australian Taxation Office. During his time there, he worked in the areas of advising, audit and appeals/review.
He is enrolled in a PhD in taxation at Monash University, and has published in both Australian and overseas tax journals and presented papers at a number of conferences.
Ken is a member of the Tax Teachers Association and CPA Australia. He has presented GST seminars on behalf of CPA Australia.
Teaching
Ken's area of teaching includes taxation law, CPA taxation as well as business taxation and GST.
Research
His research interests are in the areas of tax policy and reform, tax simplification and tax administration.
