Shirley joined the department in 2005. Before joining Monash, Shirley worked as an associate lecturer in the Law School at Deakin University (2004) and as a sessional tutor teaching corporate law at Melbourne University (2003). In semester one, 2006, Shirley was appointed as a visiting lecturer at the Law School, City University of Hong Kong where she taught torts and business law to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Shirley has also worked as a lawyer for the Office of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman; in the corporate sector for National Australia Bank and in the public sector for ASIC.
Teaching
Shirley lectures in commercial law and taxation law. .
