Tabatha Pettitt

Assistant Lecturer, Business Law and Taxation

Tabatha is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Business Law & Taxation.  Prior to her employment at Monash University, she worked in private practice undertaking Family Law matters for nearly five years. She also worked for three years at the University of Melbourne as a Research Fellow undertaking research on the corporatisation of ports in Australia. She was a member of the Council of the Law Institute of Victoria for 2004 and 2005.

Teaching

Tabatha is teaching Business Law and Corporations Law. She has also taught Commercial Law.

Research

Tabatha is currently undertaking a PhD at University on the corporatisation of ports in Australia.  She is also a member of the Council of the International Association of Maritime Economists, and a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.  Tabatha's research interest include port corporatisation in Australia and overseas.
