Taxation Law and Policy Research Institute

The Taxation Law and Policy Research Institute (TLPRI) is dedicated to taxation law research. Membership of the Institute comprises academic staff teaching and researching taxation law and policy, research fellows and graduate students completing research in the area of taxation law and policy.

The Institute encourages and supports academic tax publications by staff and research fellows and higher degree by research students. TLPRI also assists academic staff in the taxation law field to acquire competitive research funding and carry out industry-partner research.

The TLPRI is closely involved with the Department of Business Law and Taxation's Doctoral and Masters higher degree by research programs and provides direct logistical and academic support to candidates enrolled in these degrees.

The TLPRI also seeks to disseminate and foster academic taxation law research by organising conferences, seminars and colloquia and joint events with other institutions.

Research generated by such fora is published in conjunction with other institutions or commercial publishers.
