ESAM 2004

Information for Sponsors

The Australasian Meeting of the Econometric Society is the official regional meeting of the prestigious international body, the Econometric Society. The 2004 Meeting is to be held at the Sheraton Southbank from July 7 to July 9. An indication of the high profile of the meeting is that keynote speakers include the 2003 Nobel laureate, Professor Clive Granger, and the president of the Econometric Society, Professor Ariel Rubinstein.

Sponsors will be recognised on the conference web site, in any specific conference advertising, on the printed programme, and at any sessions or events that are directly linked with the sponsorship. Within reason, sponsors may distribute advertising at the conference, including in the conference satchels.

As a guide for sponsors we offer the following options:

  • Gold Sponsor:     $5,000
  • Silver Sponsor:    $2,000
  • Bronze Sponsor:  $1,000

Alternatively, you may wish to sponsor a particular event, for which you would gain specific publicity related to that event, in addition to the above. The events available for sponsorship are:

  • Keynote Speaker:  $6,000 (includes Gold sponsorship)
  • Specific Invited Session:  $3,000 (includes Silver sponsorship)
  • Conference Dinner:  $6,000 (includes Gold sponsorship)
  • Conference Reception:  $3,000 (includes Silver sponsorship).

Sponsorship of a keynote or invited speaker is for advertising only. If the sponsor wants to spend extra time with the speaker, then some arrangement would have to be negotiated between all the parties. Follow the links for more information on our excellent lineup of keynote and invited speakers.

Sponsorship of a given event or speaker will naturally be on a "first-come" basis, though sharing of sponsorships would be possible if all parties agree.

If you are interested in sponsoring the Conference or one of the conference events or speakers please contact the Conference Organisers.
