Newly Appointed Honorary Professors

The Department is pleased to announce that Professor Graciela Chichilnisky has accepted the position of as a Sir Louis Matheson Distinguished Visiting Professor and Professor Henry Ergas has been appointed as Honorary Professor. 

Public Lecture by Professor Richard Portes

The Department of Economics invites you to a public lecture by Professor Richard Portes, Professor of Economics at London Business School, Founder and President of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Directeur d'Etudes at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Secretary-General of the Royal Economic Society and Senior Editor and Co-Chairman of the Board of Economic Policy.

2008 Higher Degree Research (HDR) Student Workshop

Students undertaking Honours, Masters and DBA/PhD programs in International business and Asian Economics and related fields (international management and international marketing) are invited to join other HDR students and their supervisors at a research workshop. Students working on International business relating to Asia are particularly encouraged to present.
