The Department of Economics

The Department of Economics is one of the foundation departments of Monash University. Department staff teach on seven campuses, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs on-campus, of-campus nationally through distance education and offshore in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Africa. The Department provides top level specialist advice to governments and private sector bodies in Australia and internationally and has developed advisory contacts in the Asia-Pacific Region, as well as close connections with prestigious academic and policy formulating institutions in the United States, Britain and Europe.
