Research and publications in Economics
The Department of Economics has a vibrant research atmosphere. A mix of new and established members has created an environment that is conducive to research, both theoretical and applied. Members of the department work individually and in collegiate teams, within the department, in other units of the faculty, and a number of department members work collaboratively with colleagues in other universities, both in Australia and internationally. The last few years have witnessed the emergence of a number of areas of research concentration within the department such as Behavioural/Experimental Economics.
