Training and DevelopmentStaff Professional Development Seminar ProgramThe Faculty in-semester seminar program is available for all Faculty staff to address and discuss current teaching and learning issues in a supportive and collegial environment. The seminars are interactive in style and include background theory as the basis for discussion and application of the issues to individual teaching situations. The seminars are grouped under the themes of: The seminars run for one hour with extra time available for further discussion of the issues following the seminar. All attending staff will receive certificates of attendances. Sessional staff will be paid to attend the one-hour seminars. All seminars begin at 1:00pm with lunch provided from 12:30pm. Registration is required for catering purposes. Interested staff will also be sponsored to attend the following programs:
