Feedback on exam performance and/or end of semester assessment tasks

Feedback on student performance in examinations and other end-of-semester assessment is required, in accordance with the University procedures on Unit Assessment (effective 15 February 2010).

Chief examiners must ensure that students are informed of the arrangements made for them to obtain feedback on their performance in examinations and other end-of-semester assessment. 

As decided at the Faculty Education Committee meeting 2/10 the agreed faculty position is that feedback will be provided through the departmental arrangements for viewing exam papers.  The decision was subsequently discussed at meetings 2/10 of the Undergraduate Studies Committee and Graduate Studies Committee.

Departments will need to ensure the specific arrangements for either inspecting, obtaining or photocopying the assessment material.  Current arrangements for exam viewing vary by department.  Specific details are available via the following departments on the web:
