MCG Event

Professor Gill Palmer, Dean Faculty of Business and Economics,
hosted a special event at the Monash University Corporate Box to watch Collingwood vs. Geelong Game at the MCG on Friday, September 21, 2007.

When industry and government attendees were asked if they gained any value from this event, Peter Chaffey, Knowledge Capital Executive, Melbourne City Council, replied,  “Yes, it increased understanding of directions being taken by Monash and the possibility of stronger links to my work for the Melbourne Vice Chancellors Forum and Melbourne’s Knowledge Capital projects.”

Kevin Stevenson, Partner, Global Capital Markets Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers wrote, “I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and am grateful to have been invited. It would be hard to pick a better game in the future and, of course, the company was excellent. Those of us that assist Monash are not looking for reward, but it is still very nice to know the help is not taken for granted.”
