Coaching for Life Success - maintaining your motivation
Life Coaching is not a fad but a phenomenon that has established itself as a well accepted discipline with its philosophy and techniques being grounded in scientific theory and research.
In “Coaching for Life Success” you will learn important coaching skills (developing self-awareness, setting goals and achieving results through action and change) to assist you now with your current goals eg. exam preparation, sitting exams, planning your studies and your time, written work eg. essays. In addition, you will be able to apply what you learn to any personal goals as well as to any future goals you may set for yourself.
On completion of the Program you will receive a “Certificate of Completion” which will look great on an a Resume when applying for employment. Please note this is a Life Coaching program applied in an educational setting. It is not a tutoring program.
Can you benefit from Coaching?
Braham and Wahl (2000) maintain to benefit from coaching, you will need a commitment and willingness to experiment and learn from what you notice and experience. You will also need a structure that provides direction and helps you understand your responses to situations.
The commitment comes from you. The structure comes from the program. We would like to welcome you to the program and look forward to working with you over the next 5 or so weeks to support you in attaining your goals.
A free 5-week group Life Coaching program to:
- Set and achieve effective goals
- Futher develop skills specific to academic preparation and performance
- Stay focussed and get yourself back on track when distracted
- Turn negative self-talk into positive thoughts
This 5-week program (just 1 hour per week) held on Tuesday mornings, commences in Week 4 and is for current GSB students.
Using leading edge coaching tools and techniques, this program is designed to enhance your ability to develop and maintain your goal setting skills, discover your inner road blocks and how to optimally work around them, further develop skills specific to academic preparation and performance and build your self confidence to ensure continued success at university.
Students participating in this program are required to participate in a short online questionnaire prior to commencement of the program, enabling us to ensure the program meets your needs.
This program is facilitated by Psychologist from Health, Wellbeing and Development and workshops are held at Caulfield campus and available to all current Monash Graduate School of Business students from these departments:
