The GSB offers new students in 2008 the opportunity to participate in a selection of short (optional) workshops during Orientation week at Caulfield Campus.

These GSB Orientation Passport workshops are self-select and you are free to choose from a wide selection of workshops to find something that meets your own needs.

The program is free and all sessions are conducted at our Caulfield campus.

The GSB has streamed this workshop series into four categories aiming to offer something for everyone.

  • Academic skills development
  • Professional skills development
  • Australian culture and language
  • Postgraduate refresher

The workshops are voluntary and although they do not offer any credit towards your field of study, they provide you the chance to help you develop good study habits, meet other new students in an informal setting, and begin to create your own networks, all essential elements in giving you a head start with your Graduate studies.

During your GSB Orientation one day program, you will receive a Workshop Passport. This passport is your entrée into the workshop program. If you are unable to attend the one day Orientation program, but would like to attend a workshop, you can collect a Workshop Passport from GDO reception in Building H, level 1 at Caulfield Campus.
