The Development of Corporate Universities in Australia

Scope of the research:
In an era of increasing skill shortages, this research considers the extent to which the concept of the corporate university is emerging as a key strategic platform in developing organisational competitive advantage. Corporate University is a term used increasingly by major organisations to reflect the changing emphasis of training and development within their organisations. The initial phase of this research is exploring Australia’s largest employers.

Project details:
Taking a case study approach the project examines the development of corporate universities in the Australian Retail Sector. This is undertaken through in depth case study research and modelling.
