Monash Governance Forums - 2002

Past forums in 2002 in the Monash Governance Forums series were presented by the following prominent speakers.

The first forum in the Monash Governance Forum series was led by
Dr Vince Fitzgerald
Topic: "Good Governance: Sharing Australia's Tax Revenue Fairly"
Dr Fitzgerald and Professor Ross Garnaut, two of Australia's most experienced and respected economists, presented their view on the final report of their Review of Commonwealth-State Funding. Its controversial recommendations have sparked immediate debate.

The second forum in the Monash Governance Forum series was led by
Professor Allan Fels AO, Chairman, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)
11th November 2002
Topic: "Competition Policy and the Public Interest: A Perspective of the ACCC" (pdf, 65kb)
The forum was chaired by Professor Gill Palmer, Dean Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University.

The third forum in the Monash Governance Forum series was led by
Mr Henry Bosch AO
2nd December 2002
Topic: "The Role of Shareholders and Directors in Current Corporate Governance."
Mr Henry Bosch is Australia's leading Corporate Governance speaker.
