The Asia-Pacific Symposium on Emotions and Worklife will be held at Monash University, Melbourne on Friday, 24 November 2006 . The event will be a day-long, semi-formal meeting of scholars interested in the study of emotions in work settings. Sponsored by the Social and Economic Interface Research Network (SIERnet), Monash University, the symposium will provide participants with lunch, morning and afternoon teas. An evening social dinner will be arranged on a user pays basis at Nachos Mexican Cantina, 1650 Dandenong Road, Oakleigh.

The symposium will include a limited number of paper presentation sessions however the focus will be on poster presentations and roundtable discussion. The formal paper presentations will be completed in the morning session, a break for poster viewing and lunch, followed by two roundtable discussion sessions based on the posters. The program will also feature a keynote address and a panel discussion.
