I have a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. After 15 years as a research scientist and actor/science communicator, I enrolled in the MPPM because I wanted to gain an understanding of public policy and management so that I could make a contribution to the development of public policy in the area of biotechnology.

This enabled me to work in the Victorian Department of Human Services where the MPPM underpinned almost everything I did. At Monash I am particularly using the strategic management knowledge.

Studying the MPPM gave me the momentum to start on the next career phase in my life.
