With 10 years experience as a HR manager, I needed a qualification to further my career and open up new opportunities. I have been surprised by how much I have enjoyed returning to study – I have loved all the units so far. I was initially apprehensive about coming back to university, as it is more than 20 years since I completed my undergraduate degree, but I fitted in easily and have made friends from around the world. Although the Master of Human Resource Management is much more demanding than my first degree, I've found it easier to take in the information because I have a contextual framework from work and life experiences which relates to the areas I'm studying.
