L’Oréal Brandstorm Competition – are you ready to take the challenge?

Watch this video on L’Oréal Brandstorm.

Each year Monash Department of Marketing works with a number of teams to compete in the global Brandstorm competition run by L’Oréal.

Since its creation in 1993, more than 37,000 students have taken part in this exciting marketing competition; revamping international L’Oréal brands.

The competition involves more than 200 universities around the world across 36 countries. Since entering the competition in 2004, Monash has each year made it to the national finals, and we've also made it to the world finals (where we were placed second in the world!)

How does it work?

The competition requires you to work in teams of 3 to come up with a new brand strategy for extending a L’Oréal product range.

Participants receive a case study and work as Brand Managers on the brief provided. This takes place under the guidance of Dr Sandra Luxton.

Who can play?

This competition is open to Monash University students from ALL year levels that are undertaking a degree or major in Marketing and who will still be studying next year.

What's the 2010 challenge?

"Imagine what would be the new DIESEL beauty product range for men if it were not fragrance"
