This afternoon, we paid a visit to the spectaculars Tsinghua science park, also known as the TusPark. Mr. Liu, the assistant GM of Tsinghua science park took us for a tour inside the park. From him, we found out that there are more than 400 companies inside the park, with over 19000 employees working there. TusPark is a good platform or channel between the start-ups and investors. In fact, TusPark is the number one in ranking in the incubation technology transfer in China. According to Mr. Liu, the main services they provide include basic office service, value-added service and financial consulting service. The financial consulting service is the main differentiating factor for TusPark compared to other incubators in China.
Mr. Liu gave us a wonderful PowerPoint presentation, and we had the opportunity to ask questions in the end as well as took many photos. We as a group, enjoyed visiting the Tsinghua science park, and some of us wish if there is a chance in the future, we will come back to work for the successful companies inside the science park, or maybe, we will set up an Australian company inside the TusPark one day.
