Honours in Marketing
Gets you further ... faster
Honours Course – B.Bus (Hons) and B.Com (Hons)
Honours is an advanced
undergraduate degree for
students who are keen to
pursue further study in an
intensively supported and well
structured program of
independent study. Mentoring and an individualised
supportive learning environment
are key features of the Honours
program in Marketing where
Honours students also benefit from
building their network through
small classes of high achieving
focused learners. The thesis component offers
truly personalised learning, while
the taught units offer exceptional
skill development.
The Department is proud to support its Honours students through a range of scholarships.
Honours is an 8 unit course
There are four units taught in
first semester. The research
project is the focus of the second
semester and is assessed
through the thesis (4 units
equivalent). In addition,
workshops for skill development
are run at the beginning and the
end of semester one. See Course Information and Learning Experience.
Admission to Honours
The intensive and personalised nature of
the Honours program means that
numbers are restricted. Selection is
based on demonstrated academic skill,
a statement of interest an interview and the availability of suitable supervision.
See Admission and Scholarships.
