Department of Marketing Scholarships
To be considered for a scholarship, students need to apply for the Honours Program through the usual process administered by the Faculty Student Services branch and available on the Honours Application page.
Honours applications will be reviewed by a Panel and suitable candidates will be invited to an interview by letter (please make sure your application includes a current mailing address). Interviews are likely to be scheduled for the last week in November or the first week in December. Candidates who are interstate or overseas might need to make arrangements for a telephone interview. Interviewees are likely to be asked for additional information such as a cv or references.
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic record, Statement of Interest and relevance of cv to the scholarship area. Panel review and interviews are required. Scholarships do not have to be awarded if there are no eligible candidates. Panel decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcomes. Scholarships are payable in two parts: the first half after the University census date for semester one and the second half during week one of second semester, on condition that the enrolee is in good standing and is performing at a high level (above 70%). Only one scholarship per person is available.

Industry Scholarships – 3 scholarships funded by industry
$3,000 each award
Scholarships in this category are offered by:
Pathway to Academia Scholarships – 3 scholarships for academic focused thesis with tutoring experience subject to availability and suitability (an additional interview will be mandatory for this award)
$3,000 + tutoring one tutorial per week
Supported Living Scholarships – 3 scholarships for living expenses such as education materials (laptop, books); accommodation expenses; travel (rural and international students)
$2,000 each award
Scholarships Panel
The Panel for Honours Scholarships will comprise at least the following:
Head of Department, Research Director and Honours Co-ordinator.
Applications are received through the Faculty student services office from the website. The application form, academic transcript and Statement of Interest in Honours comprise a full application see Admissions page. Monash student results are sent on internally - external students' results are requested by the Faculty.
To be considered for the Scholarship Honours applications need to be submitted by the last Friday in October. [Honours applications can continue to be processed after this date but will not be considered for a scholarship.
