Postgraduate Study in Marketing
The Department of Marketing offers entry to applicants with related business experience or an undergraduate degree. Applicants choose from a variety of programs that best suit and reflect their particular interests, experience, qualifications and time constraints. Our programs allow students to progress from an Executive Certificate to a Masters by coursework, even if they do not have an undergraduate degree.
Flexible exit points are offered to students who, for whatever reason, are unable to complete all twelve units. Students can elect to exit the degree at the end of the first four specified units and receive recognition for the units completed by taking out the relevant Graduate Certificate. Students who successfully complete a further four specified units are able to exit the program with a Graduate Diploma.
Range of graduate programs in marketing:
- Master of Marketing is designed for career professionals with a first degree in any discipline and two years relevant industry experience. Students can elect to do Marketing or a specialisation in International Marketing, Marketing Communication, Relationship Marketing, or Retailing.
- Master of Business with an Advanced Marketing specialisation is for early career marketers, who have completed a marketing major in their first degree, and want to deepen and broaden their marketing knowledge.
- Master of Business with a Marketing specialisation is for those at an early stage in their career, not having studied marketing in their first degree, and want a master program that includes the central concepts of marketing.
- Executive Certificate in Business is for applicants who have well developed careers but have not completed a bachelor degree, providing an alternative entry to the Master of Marketing.
