Industry professionals impress during Accounting career summit

An Accounting and Beyond career summit was recently held at Caulfield Campus to look at career options for accounting graduates.  Paul Mather from Accounting and Finance introduced the keynote speakers Laura Horton, Recruitment Manager for Hays and Jonathan Isaacs, Finance Director for Clemenger BDDO.

Panel discussions with industry professionals such as Darren Sacks from the Carlton Football Club, David Parasol from CTS Australia, Naomi McQuaid from the Department of Treasury and Finance and Liz Jennings from World Vision were a highlight of the event.

Peter Krikstolaitis from Monash Professional Internships talked about internship options for international graduates seeking permanent residency. Julian Teicher spoke about further studies and professional development.

The career summit was organised by Monash Employment and Career Development in conjunction with the faculty.
