Faculty signs MOU with Banking University in Vietnam

The Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Banking University Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for collaboration on various academic and research activities.

Banking University HCMC was established by the Vietnamese Government in 1976 and has a close relationship with the State Bank of Vietnam. It also provides customised training, staff development courses and in-service degree programs for the State Bank, other banks and the securities industry in the city.

Banking University HCMC is particularly interested in the faculty's MBA and PhD programs, preferably with AusAid scholarship support. They are also interested in an undergraduate articulation arrangement in banking and finance, e-commerce and international business.

The collaboration on academic and research activities includes research in areas of mutual interest, exchange of academic materials which are made available by both parties, exchange of scholars, exchange of students and cooperative seminars, workshops and other academic activities.
