IBM Future Leaders Scholarship Program announced
IBM and Monash University are offering twelve IBM Future Leaders Scholarships in 2009 that will provide recipients with a bursary of $27,000 each over the next 18 months.
IBM Future Leaders Scholarships are designed to produce employment ready graduates who have the discipline-based and personal skills required to lead cross disciplinary teams in a rapidly changing business environment.
Successful applicants will complete a unique program of study within the Bachelor of Business at Caulfield which includes two complementary majors, one offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics and one offered by the Faculty of Information Technology.
The major features of the program are primarily the opportunities it provides for students to develop and hone leadership skills as part of co-curricular and extracurricular learning programs, and secondly, the opportunity to undertake a 22 week full-time industry based learning project with IBM.
