Nominations open for Dean's Award for TeachingEach year, the faculty recognises outstanding teaching achievement by offering the Dean's Commendations for Outstanding Teaching and the Dean's Awards for Excellence in Teaching. Dean's Commendations for Outstanding TeachingDean's Commendations recognise individuals or teams who make a significant contribution to the student learning experience. Commendations will be made on the recommendations to the Dean by the Heads of Department and no application is required. Dean's Awards for Excellence in TeachingThese prestigious Awards recognise contribution to and achievement in teaching and learning development. Up to four awards may be made each year. Successful candidates are rewarded with a Dean's Teaching Development Grant valued at $5,000. Candidates for Dean's Awards can self-nominate or be nominated by colleagues or students.
