
PVC Campus Coordination talks about future developmentsProfessor Phillip Steele, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Campus Coordination and Campus Director Berwick and Peninsula campuses was the guest speaker at the recent Monash University Berwick Business and Education Group (MUBBEG) Business Breakfast. The forum provides networking and information sharing opportunities for the local business community, schools and Monash University Berwick. Professor Steele talked about the new developments for Berwick campus which include a new selective-entry State Government senior school to be built on the campus providing greater opportunities and choice for students in regional and outer suburban areas. Monash University Council has agreed to put aside land to the north of the campus for construction of the new co-educational school, which is expected to be up and running in 2010. The area is recording one of the fastest population growth rates in Victoria.
