The Monash University Berwick Business Education Group (MUBBEG), the City of Casey and other members of the Casey Business Forum hosted Peter Irvine, co-founder of Gloria Jean’s Coffee, at their 2010 Business Breakfast Seminar Series.
Since they opened their first coffee house in November 1996, Gloria Jean’s Coffee has grown to be the largest speciality coffee retailer and one of the fastest growing franchise organisations in Australia. Today there are over 490 Gloria Jean’s stores and kiosks across Australia and over 1000 coffee houses in 39 countries worldwide.
“We started the business by having a vision. To be successful you must have a vision and stay focused,” Peter said.
In 2005 Gloria Jean’s Coffee won the PricewaterhouseCoopers Excellence in Franchising – Franchisor of the Year Award.
