How to accept your offer and enrol (Domestic students)
Step 1 - Activate your University account and accept your offer
First, register for a Monash University computer Authcate account.
Use your Monash student ID (from your offer letter)
If you have received a conditional offer, you must meet the conditions of the offer before you can complete any further steps. Please advise the Graduate Student Office when you have met the conditions of the offer.
Step 2 - Complete the Enrolment Questionnaire
All new students must complete the Enrolment Questionnaire in order for their enrolment to be validated. Use your Authcate username and password to login.
Step 3 - Enrol in units
Enrol in units on the Web Enrolment System (WES) for Semester 1 and 2 2012 by the deadline specified in your offer letter or your offer will lapse.
To complete the requirements of your new course you to familiarise yourself with your new course structure available in the 2012 Monash University Handbook. Note: Part-time load is 2 units per semester and a full-time load is 4 units per semester.
If you wish to enrol in Off-campus units, you must enrol by Friday 10 February 2012.
You cannot be enrolled in a unit unless you have satisfied the compulsory prerequisite requirement/s.
Transaction number
Each time you make a successful enrolment transaction on WES you will receive a transaction number that will also be emailed to your Monash Email account. It is essential you keep these transaction numbers and details as evidence of your enrolment. If you do not receive a transaction number your enrolment/amendments have not been saved, and you will need to try again.
Step 4 - Timetable information
You can view the University Timetable to check the suitability of day/s, time/s and room allocation/s your chosen units will be taught.
This timetable will be updated on a regular basis. As all class times and venues are subject to alteration without notice, please check the timetable carefully just prior to your first attendance in each unit. Room and lecture theatres are subject to change up until the end of the second week in each semester. Room locations will not be provided over the telephone.
Step 5 - Register for tutorials
Register for tutorials and other compulsory activities on Allocate+ for the units in which you have enrolled.
Please keep in mind that not all units are listed in Allocate+. Allocate+ dates are advertised on the Allocate+ home page. Registration via Allocate+ takes place on a “first come, first served” basis, if a lecture or tutorial is full you must select another time option, or another unit if necessary.
Step 6 - Apply for FEE-HELP
Complete your FEE-HELP application online if you wish to take this option.
Please note that FEE-HELP is only available to Masters and Graduate Diploma students who meet the citizenship or residency requirements. FEE-HELP is not available to Executive Certificate students.

Step 7 - Access your student email account
Use your account to access your email, class timetable, my.monash portal, course materials, ask.monash, the library and the WES.
The University will only send email correspondence to your Monash student email account. You must use this address to contact us. Please always include your full name and student ID.
Deferring your offer
If you would like to take up the offer but commence your studies at a later stage, you may apply via WES.
Alternatively, you may complete and lodge a Deferment Applicationform with the Graduate Student Office. Monash University policy allows deferment to be granted for up to one year (two semesters).
Rejecting your offer
If you decide not to accept your offer please login to your Online Admission Account to reject your offer.
