Introduction to AMOS - A Research Methods Software Workshop
Presenter: Dr Ingrid Nielsen
Date: August 28, 2009
Time: 10am - 3pm
Venue: Clayton Campus (Venue will be confirmed upon registration)
AMOS is a powerful and easy-to-use structural equation modelling (SEM) software. You can create more realistic models than if you used standard multivariate statistics or multiple regression models alone. Using Amos, you specify, estimate, assess, and present your model in an intuitive path diagram to show hypothesized relationships among variables. This enables you to test and confirm the validity of claims such as "value drives loyalty" in minutes, not hours. This workshop will introduce AMOS and you will learn how to use AMOS to achieve your objectives. It will be assumed you have a basic knowledge of multiple regression. As Labs have very limited capacity, places for this workshop are strictly limited and will be allocated on as registrations are received.
