2009 FACULTY DOCTORAL CONFERENCE

The 14^th Annual Faculty Doctoral Conference will be held at Flowerdale Estate Retreat at Flowerdale about 70 minutes north of the CBD: http://www.flowerdaleestate.com.au/  on October 19 & 20.

This event is a great opportunity to broaden the experience of faculty doctoral students here at Monash:  to gain presentation experience before a multidisciplinary audience; and to further develop networks both with senior academic staff and peers outside of your discipline.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Stephen King, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics will open the conference. The Agenda for this two day conference comprises presentations by students and several guest speakers. Students are required to submit a paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings about their research written for a multidisciplinary audience.  Feedback from the Review Panel comprising senior academic staff will be given at the time of presentation and written feedback after the conference.  Prizes to the Best Presentation(s) will be made.

Conference costs are funded by the Faculty of Business and Economics.
